On the 3rd December, me and my team decided to head down to Liverpool for the annual River of Light Festival. For those of you who don’t already know, the festival is a 9 day event in which the waterfront is transformed by light, colour and sound.
One of the main reasons we decided to go on the 3rd, was due to there also being a huge display of fireworks on the waterfront and I cannot even describe how busy the place was! IT WAS MEGA! Thousands of people must have been stood watching the display and I can only imaging that is how new years in London is, It was amazing!
There were so many light displays but unfortuantely I only got to witness 3 of these as I couldn’t make the second visit. Below is a list of the displays 🙂
- Liverpool Jackpot
- Run Beyond
- Whole Hole
- Light Bench
As a team, we spent quite a while at each display, capturing photos and taking it all in – It really was one of the best nights. The festival has finished for this year, but it will be making a return in 2020 – I definitely recommend this to anybody and especially those whom thrive of photography as you can take some amazing shots!
