A couple of months ago I decided it was time to try to relax with yoga as let’s face it, being stuck inside for the last 3 months has been extremely boring and I needed to find some activities to keep myself amused. Yoga is great because it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an expert, there will always be some kind of tutorial online for you to follow. 

I posted a few photos & videos over on my Instagram when I first started to enjoy yoga, as I felt so much better in myself afterwards and I thought maybe someone else could benefit from it as well as me. There are also so many benefits from doing yoga and as I suffer from many illnesses I was very intrigued to see how different I’d feel.

  • It helps to relieve anxiety 
  • It can help to reduce chronic pain
  • It can promote the quality of your sleep
  • It helps massively with your posture

Did I notice any changes?

So I did notice some changes in myself, with the most important one being that I felt extremely calm & relaxed afterwards. I’d finish my session and I’d actually sit and chill with a cuppa before starting to work on my blog. I’m not so sure that the quality of my sleep changed too much, but I do have an illness that affects my body clock so I wasn’t really expecting anything of that sort to change.

Obviously, I can’t write a post and not tell you my top 5 poses….so here we go:

  • Ninja
  • Dancer
  • Spinal Twist

I used to love doing my stretching sessions and I feel I really need to get back into morning yoga again as I really miss it and it did really help me to relax.
