At the start of my quarantine, I felt so motivated and ready to get lots of sh*t done but I can’t lie, I’ve had so many lazy days. I’ve started motivating myself over the past few weeks though…I feel so much better than I ever did before and so I thought I’d share my tips with you!
- I find if I’m up and dressed before 9am, I’m more likely to do a lot more than I would if I got up later in the day. I 100% recommend getting yourself ready as it tricks your brain into action, meaning you’ll be 10 x more motivated.
- I invested in a ‘to-do list’ pad at the start of the year and it’s honestly been my saviour these past few weeks. I like to plan my day out in advance so I can check off everything once attended too.
- If I have studying to do or sometimes if I find myself staring at a blank screen when writing blog posts, I would normally suggest you go to a coffee shop, but since that’s out of the window I like to make my Nespresso and set up in my office instead of on the sofa or wherever else I’m working
- It’s important to plan in ‘rest’ days as a reward for all the hard work you’ve done. I still find myself doing some sort of work on this day but on a much smaller scale.
What’s keeping you motivated during this worrying time? – Let me know in the comments 🙂
