When it comes to finding a coverage foundation it just has to be foolproof. In the past, I’ve had so many disasters…from striated application to skin irritation, it seems acquiring a faultless foundation can prove tough.
Over the last 6-12 months, I’ve been particularly engrossed in a world of vegan and cruelty-free products, most of which I now utilize in my day to day routines. ‘The Ordinary’ has been at the peak of the list for foundations to test for some time now, as it’s inexpensive and contains a number of amazing qualities, all of which I’m here for!
Their ‘coverage foundation’ is available in 21 different shades and retails at an incredible £5.90…I mean how can you grumble at that? I purchased the shade 1.2p and I genuinely don’t think I could have picked a better match. The foundation also incorporates an SPF which I personally think is bewildering considering the price.
I should probably talk about the application of this as I know that’s what you’ve all been waiting for. So to apply this, I take a buffer brush and apply a small quantity of the foundation…about a pea-sized amount and this is enough to cover my face, you can use a little more if you require more coverage. It leaves a gorgeous healthy dewy finish to my skin that lasts all day long. This really is foolproof in my eyes!
I’ve not yet come across a cruelty-free skincare & makeup brand as prodigious as ‘The Ordinary’. To say I’m impressed would be a complete understatement. I’ll unquestionably be repurchasing The Ordinary’s foundation once I’m all out.
Let me know what you think if you’ve used this foundation before and don’t forget to follow my social media accounts.
