The best hot chocolate? | The Aimee Effect

I am such a sucker when it comes to hot chocolate. As much as I love coffee, I am forever won over by chocolate drinks. So when I came across the Twinings Swiss Chocolate Drink I just had to try it! It’s mad that I didn’t know Twinings did a chocolate drink and I can’t believe I’ve never seen this stuff in the shops until now!

Made with real swiss chocolate, the drink claims to be silky smooth & indulgent and I can confirm that this is the real deal! I have never had a homemade hot chocolate as satisfying as this one. It is vegetarian so great for you non-meat eaters and is also gluten free, which gets a massive thumbs up from me as I struggle with my gut.

Onto the real important stuff now – does anybody else hate how when you add powder to milk, you get a lot of lumps and bumps of powder that hasn’t quite dissolved? Well OMG with this let me tell you, NO lumps, it dissolves so effortlessly. You can even use cold milk and make a milkshake if you’re not fancying a hot chocolate! HOW UNREAL?

I’m basically declaring my love right now, but how can I not when it is genuinely the best home hot chocolate I’ve come across. The powder retails at £4.00 for 350g, so it’s not too steep (especially if like me, you often visit coffee shops) but I actually got this when it was on offer so I only paid £2.50. I think it’s worth the price and I will 100% be repurchasing once I’m all out 🙂

Try it for yourself and see if you hype it as much me! I’d love to know!
